I am an independent research scientist and the NEWFIRM fellow in the Department of Astronomy and Yale Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics at Yale University.

I obtained my PhD in 2004 from the Astrophysics Research Institute at Liverpool John Moores University working with Chris Collins investigating the properties of galaxies in intermediate redshift X-ray selected clusters.
Following my PhD I worked as a PDRA with Bob Nichol first at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and then a the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation at Portsmouth University. I then spent 4 years as an independent PDRA in the extragalactic astrophysics group at the University of Durham.

You can find a copy of my cv here and a full list of my publications from ADS here.
