KEY
AG = GRB afterglow
NO OBS. = no observations are to be done
low reddening = E(B-V) < 0.7
high reddening = E(B-V) > 0.7
The time criteria ( < 10 hrs or 10-24 hrs) =
approximately how long after the GRB occurred
are observations going to take place?
bright = mag.<19
intermediate = 19< mag. <21
dim = mag.>21
S1 = GRB_triggered.pro (info), observe 2x
S2 = GRB_triggered.pro (info), observe 1x
S3 = GRBred_IJ3.pro (info), observe 2x
S4 = GRBred_IJ3.pro (info), observe 1x
S5 = GRB_triggered.pro (info), observe 2-3x
S6 = GRBred_IJ6.pro (info), observe 2x
S7 = GRB_triggered.pro (info), observe 2-3x
S8 = GRBred_IJ6.pro (info), observe 2x

*multiple observations should be spread in time
to allow for significant afterglow decay
If no afterglow has been reported by other observers
through the GCN but initial SMARTS observations
reveal an AG candidate, then switch from the "no
optical/IR reported or observed" track to the
"optical/IR reported or observed" [but first allow any
active telescope scripts to finish running].
Remember to periodically refresh the GCN page!
