The Graduate Center of the City University of New York is at 365 Fifth Avenue: on the northeast corner of 34th Street and Fifth Avenue, catty-corner from the Empire State Building; the entrance is on Fifth Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets.

The Center is about a ten-minute walk from either Grand Central Terminal or Penn Station and less than that from the many nearby subway lines.
