Our Next Event STARRY is taking a break for the summer, but please check back in the fall! If you're in New Haven for the summer, though, you might head up to the observatory for a public night. Also, please check out some of the future events we have in mind. Ongoing All of our ongoing events take place at the student observatory. You can find directions to the observatory here. Public nights, hosted by the astronomy department, are the first and third Thursday of every month. We hold observing sessions for STARRY members every second, fourth and fifth Thursday night of the month at the student observatory. We sometimes host groups of Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Indian Guides, etc. at the observatory. If you are interested in arranging an observing night for your group, please email us!
