About Me
About Me
I grew up Atlanta, GA, and went to college in South Carolina at the College of Charleston where I earned a BS degree in Physics. After graduation, I found myself back in Georgia for grad school at Georgia State University where I got a PhD in Astronomy. Fresh out of graduate school, I was awarded the prestigious Hubble Fellowship, a grant that allowed my research to be continued at Georgia State University for an additional three years.
Currently, I live in New Haven CT, and work as an astronomer as part of the Yale exoplanet group. I am married and have 2 wonderful kids and a crazy dog named Kepler.
In my copious free time, I enjoy throwing pottery in my home studio and going to see live music.
