CALIBRATIONS
Please take a series of darks at 40s (10). Take a junk image first and
then 10 40s darks. Use the file "dark40s.pro" in my area:
ftp://www.ctio.noao.edu/pub/nick/smarts/
OBSERVATIONS
Put in the J filter. Put star 1 around (200,200). The SN will start at
at (370,320).
We have the following observing files:
SN2005cf_bj
SN2005cf_vy
SN2005cf_rh
SN2005cf_ih
SN2005cf_vk
SN2005cf_ik
We will offset 0.9s of time W. We will carry out the
following sequence. Always take a junk file after any telescope move
or after any pause in the observations of more than a few minutes.
SN2005cf_bj,SN2005cf_vk,SN2005cf_vy,SN2005cf_rh
move telescope 0.9s W
SN2005cf_ih,SN2005cf_ik
move telescope 0.9s W
SN2005cf_rh,SN2005cf_vk,SN2005cf_bj
move telescope 0.9s W
SN2005cf_vk
move telescope 0.9s W
SN2005cf_ik
I have written a procedure called "SN2005cf.pro" which you should run
instead of the individual *.obs files.
