SMARTS 2005A Projects

We are ready to start processing all of the service observing requests for the 2005A semester. Here are some reminders of procedure:

1.0m and 0.9m on-site observers:

Please fill out BOTH a travel form http://www.ctio.noao.edu/travel/itinerary.php3 AND an instrument setup form http://www.ctio.noao.edu/forms/supportforms/visitor_support.html. These should be completed well in advance of your run.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All 1.0m users are expected to carry out 0.7 - 1.5 hrs of service observing per night, in addition to anything noted in the schedule. Service time will NOT be charged to user runs, which have been lengthened appropriately.

1.3m observers:

Please fill out a phase II form http://www.astronomy.ohio-state.edu/ANDICAM.

Project IDs for new programs in 2005A are now in place. For help with the forms or general data acquisition questions, please contact the queue manager, Rebeccah Winnick. For information concerning data distribution and processing, please contact Suzanne Tourtellotte.

If you are NOT going to CTIO to observe, but are having service observing done, please contact Todd Henry.
