Welcome to Ritaban Chatterjee's Homepage
I am a post-doctoral associate in the Department of Astronomy at
Yale University.
My research is about accreting black hole systems including stellar-mass black holes in
X-ray binaries and super-massive black holes
in active galctic nuclei (AGN).
I spend half of my time working with the X-ray binary group at Yale led by
Prof. Charles Bailyn.
Rest of the time I collaborate with the Fermi/SMARTS group
at Yale.
Before coming to Yale, I was a graduate student in the Department of Astronomy at Boston University.
My advisor was Prof. Alan Marscher.
My recent paper accepted for publication in the Astrophysical Journal.
