Research Interests
My research interests mainly involves the study of star formation in the Local Universe using multiwavelength observations. I am currently working with Jeff Kenney and the VIVA collaboration on the effects of the cluster environment on the star formation and evolution of individual galaxies within the Virgo Cluster as shown via optical and IR (Spitzer) observations. I received my PhD from the University of Melbourne (Australia) working on the HI Parkes All Sky Survey (HIPASS), the related multiwavelength star formation survey (SINGG-SUNGG) and the discovery of a local drop-through ring galaxy, NGC 922.
