SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE COME BACK SOON.

At least 20 separate visits to each field will be obtained during the survey. In each visit, at least one i-band image will be obtained. The visits will be timed to sample a wide variety of time-scales. Most visits will be concentrated during a single observing season, although there will be at least two visits to each field each year. Within the intensive observing season, many visits will be concentrated in a single lunation, although there will be at least one visit per lunation. On at least one occasion there will repeated visits within a single night. Thus time-scales ranging from minutes (successive images within a single visit) and years will be probed. A detailed strategy for sequences of visits is currently being developed. We expect to focus on studies of variability (objects that are always present, but change their brightness) rather than transient behavior (new objects appearing in the sky), as study of transients requires rapid data analysis that will not be easy to accomplish. However, the data themselves will be suitable for transient studies, and we welcome collaborators interested in transients with a focus on finding events after the fact, or who might wish to contribute significantly to the development of the necessary analysis software.
