Welcome! I am transitioning from being a YCAA Prize Fellow at the Yale Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics to starting a faculty job at the University of Virginia. I work in the areas of Galactic structure and dynamics, dwarf galaxies and near-field cosmology.

I was previously a Pappalardo Fellow at MIT. I received my Ph.D in astrophysics at Harvard University, where the Department of Astronomy is housed at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. My advisor was Charles Alcock. I went to Mount Holyoke for undergrad where I got a BA in Physics.

I went to the United World College of the Atlantic in the UK for high school. I put that here because I'm always interested in connecting with any ex-UWC'ers who have decided to pursue a life in academe.
