About me

Spanish
Welcome to my website! I was born in Lima, Peru's capital. I lived in Peru until I was 16, when my parents relocated to the United States. I spent my undergraduate years at the University of Kansas. Although a city person, I am still very fond of my time there. I am currently on my third year of graduate school at Yale's astronomy department, working with Prof. Marla Geha.

Traveling is a favorite activity of mine, whenever I get the chance. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study Japanese on my free time from physics, and eventually spent a wonderful 6 months in Kanazawa and Nagoya. Besides astronomy, I very much also enjoy learning foreign languages, good food, chess, and classical music.

Please see my research page for details on my ongoing and past work.
