Research of Jeff Kenney

I am interested in the structure and evolution of galaxies, especially the enviromental effects on nearby cluster galaxies. Much of my work is on galaxies in the Virgo cluster, which can be studied in great detail, and where many different processes affect galaxies.

I am also interested in gas in the central few hundred parsecs of galaxies, including inward and outward gas flows, and the physical conditions under which star formation and starburts occur.
