("What chaos?", you ask: Have you ever seen Doug keep score on the back of a torn-off softball box lid?) We had a strong turnout, 7 women and 10 men, a favorable ratio that allowed us to bat a straightforward (non-convoluted) line-up; a line-up that posted six runs in the first inning, after which we never looked back. Special mentions go to History Jeff, who went three-for-three and turned a nifty double play late in the game. Dana also had a good game, reaching and scoring twice, but most memorable was the fielding gem she had at second that left the first-base coach/umpire speechless. Everyone played well and contributed to the win. And I'd like to thank everyone for all their patience and effort and, like the rest of the team, look forward to Doug's return next week! Thanks again, all, for an excellent win and a fun game! See you next Sunday. - Terry p.s. Chu, was that a digital camera you had on the field yesterday?
