In case you were all wondering, California was slightly hazy/smoggy, but I was walking around in short sleeves all weekend, so I could deal with that. We have a game at 2:00 this Sunday against the Weasels, on the same field as last week (C2). I can drive people this week, and due to an unfortunate incident involving my old car, a tree, and some ice, it will actually be a more comfortable ride for whoever's in the back of my car. Email me if you need a ride. Also, please expect next week's game to be rescheduled to 2:00 on the 7th (Saturday). Let me know if this is a major problem within the next few days, so I cna confirm with the other team's captain. (Dark?) Just to let you know, we had a full team on Sunday and ended up winning big time, 24-5. To be perfectly honest, our opponentes, ITS, did little to dispel the stereotypical notion that computer geeks and jocks are mutually exclusive types of people; but still you would have been happy with our performance. For the record, our team consisted of Cochi, Jalean, Jalean's brother Gary, Eric, Matt, Dan, Jeff (the poli sci one), Doug, Brent, and myself. As you see, your foresight in signing us up for the rec league has already paid off, as we had ten, but only two women. (The other team had three women, as I recall; so it's not like these teams are all going to be men-only.) Just to let you know how it went. - Terry
