Subject: Upcoming softball events

Bonjour Frogs,

We extended our winning streak to two games yesterday with a tidy 12-8
victory over the Lethal Hits.  While we didn't have the exciting
come-from-behind bottom of the 7th victory of two days ago, we did have to
claw our way back to victory after falling behind in the early-going.  The
hitting was solid all around, especially from the youngster Eric Murphy
who managed to pop a couple balls over the fence of the varsity field
where the game was played.  We also had a few nice defensive plays,
especially a force out at second base on what appeared to be a line single
to left field, where a newcomer named Mark who just showed up at the
fields looking for a team was playing.

Two games again next week.  Monday at 5:30 a scrimmage against the British
Art Center team and Wednesday the final official game of the season
against the Elm City Sluggers, the team of the University Properties
Office.
