Subject: Re: Softball update

Hi All -

With Tom out of the country and me in Virginia, I'll keep this short.
PLEASE come to this Sunday's double header.  Our games are scheduled
for 12:15 and 2:45.  I promise, if you come, you'll have fun!

Both Tom and I due back into New Haven Saturday evening.  There is also
a rumor that the former first family of "Frogs In Space", Mark and Katie
and Charlotte, might just be making the trip south for the games as well.
Even more reason to come out to the ol' ball diamonds!

And please let me know if you can make it.  Last time, a week and a half
ago, we had to forfeit, I'm afraid.  A juggled schedule and the onset
of Daylight Savings Time conspired to leave us two players short at
game time.  Our opponents, Drama, did lend us two good players and we
scrimmaged for four innings, and whupped 'em good, 19-3.  Alas, it won't
count in the standings.  But the individual stats do count: for instance
Cochi's McGwire'esqe home run; Belen's multi-hit debut as a Frog; and
Gary's solid day at the plate as well as his game-ending laser-throw from
centerfield to put out a runner at third.
