![]() "Frogs In Space" is the Poli-Sci/Astronomy1 softball team which, against all odds (and common sense), continues to muddle its way through the Yale co-rec, grad-staff, intramural league. This is your one-stop shop for all things F.I.S.__________1 Originally a joint venture of the French and Astronomy Departments, it's actually been a while since we've had any Frenchies on the team. But we remain "Frogs In Space" 'cause we like the name and we already have the shirts! In recent years, the team has been comprised largely of astronomers, political scientists, bureaucrats, and an assortment of others. Deal with it. NOTE! Finally, after a(nother) long period of neglect, I have updated this page. The Spring 2004 schedule is posted below. Also, there is a map in the FAQ section, showing how to get to the fields.
Spring 2004 (Updated 04/23/2004)
Our !!NEW!!
FIS Team Captain: Hugh Crowl (aka "Fearless Leader") welcomes
new and returning players!
p.s. Contrary to rumors, Doug was not deposed in a CIA-backed coup.
Instead he asked Hugh to take over managerial duties so that Doug could
better concentrate on his studies. We'll still be seeing Doug's friendly
face out on the ballfield. And thanks again to Doug for his hard
work (and patience) in managing FIS these last few seasons!
