The Twenty-first annual NERQUAM will be held on
Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Yale University.
The aim of NERQUAM is to promote interaction and collaboration amongst
the New England community of scientists working on various aspects of
Active Galaxies, Quasars, and Jets. The format will be similar to
previous years, with news items, invited and contributed talks, and
posters. There will be ample time for discussion during coffee and
lunch breaks as well as the wine and cheese reception at the
end. Because of the traditional informality of NERQUAM meetings, and
the absence of a registration fee, this is a good meeting for graduate
students and undergraduates to attend.
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with reception to follow.
Information on visiting Yale and New Haven can be found here
Registration
No registration fee. However, please let us know if you plan to come, even if you won't be presenting, so that we have an accurate attendance estimate.
Abstract submission deadline Friday, May 13, 2011.
Please submit your title, abstract and preferred format (News, Talk,
Poster) to Ritaban Chatterjee
(ritaban.chatterjee [at] yale.edu). Please note
that in order to keep time available for
coffee breaks and lunch, we may have to limit the
length or number of talks.
