I am a lecturer at Yale's Astronomy Department. In addition to continuing my work on binary stars and star clusters, I am involved in a few other projects.
Spring 2001--Prof. Sabatino Sofia and I are teaching Astronomy 130b: Life in the Universe. Here is the syllabus.
One of my duties this year was to create and run the graduate level seminar on astrobiology (here is the syllabus for Astro 630a--Special Topics in Astrobiology).
If you are interested in binary stars, globular clusters, superflares on Sun-like stars, read on:

difference between metal-poor and metal-rich contact binaries. (Here
is the PDF version.)
My March 2000 ApJ paper about superflares on
solar analogues, and the possible connection with extrasolar planets.

My March ApJ
Lett about the effects of binary stars on the luminosity

On April 1, 1997 I
defended my
thesis,

(this is a "gzipped" postscript file--if you want a different version
let me know). Or here is the
straight postscript version of my thesis
