The 6 filters used in our survey are the medium band filters J1, J2, J3, H1, H2, and broad-band K. The K band curve was supplied by Ron Probst in August 2008. Filter response curves are shown below, multiplied by the atmosphere.

In this directory response curves for the 6 filters may be found. The *_atmos.dat files include the atmosphere. For an EAZY- and FAST-readable file, see the EAZY website.

AB zeropoints were determined by integration of this Vega spectrum. For reference, the AB zeropoints of the ISAAC Js, H, and Ks filters computed with this method are also listed, along with the nominal values.

FilterAB offsetAB offset
(calculated)(nominal)
J10.65
J20.84
J30.96
H11.29
H21.42
K1.85
Js0.920.90
H1.371.38
Ks1.851.86

The AB zeropoints currently have uncertainties of ~0.03, as determined from using different Vega spectra and the comparison to the canonical values for broad band J,H,K. This can probably be improved a bit.

Update August 2008: recalculated AB zeropoints using filter curves with atmosphere included (these are the ones that are listed above). Differences very small though: 0.00-0.01.
