The department is on the 2nd floor of the J.W. Gibbs Laboratory (an ugly blue building) located on Science Hill at 260 Whitney Avenue. This building is directly across the red brick Kline Biology Tower, which is the highest building on Science Hill and is visible from much of campus. My office is #257. If you pass bright orange doors on your right or you run into our library, you are heading down the wrong end of our second floor hallway. Reverse course and go through the two sets of blue doors to other end of the hall. The bright orange doors belong to our secretaries. If you need a parking permit for the day or a travel reimbursement form, please ask one of the secretaries, preferably the one in JWG 201 (first door on left past the blue doors). Restrooms are carefully hidden on the next floor up, on either side of the elevator and in between the two sets of doors leading to the offices and labs on either side of the building. For a campus map, click here. Our building ("Gibbs Lab") is near the center of the Science Hill portion of the map. For driving directions and transportation phone numbers, click here. The official Yale visitor page is here. |
