SPM Special Catalogs

The following is a list of "special catalogs" and other, less formal, sources used to compile the input list for the SPM program.  A reference is given whenever possible, although some of the "catalog/selection" sources are purely internal SPM lists; generally stars which are designated to serve a specific, technical function in the SPM reduction procedure.  For each catalog, the number of objects included in the SPM 2.0 is given.  For a list of individual cross identifications, see the file spm-2-0.ids and the accompanying spm-2-0.aareadme located in the SPM ftp area.
