1. The collaboration between Shanghai Astronomical
Observatory and Mykolayiv Astronomical Observatory
(MAO) for determinations of precise optical positions
of 44 extragalactic radio sources with 1.56m telescope
of Shanghai Astronomical Observatory and 60cm
telescope of Beijing astronomical Observatory and
the automatic meridian circle of MAO.

2. Determinations of precise radio positions of
extragalactic radio sources in southern hemisphere
with the 25m radio telescope of Shanghai Astronomical
Observatory collaborated with the Australia Telescope
National facility.

3. Improvement of proper motions for Hipparcos
stars and radio stars with type-I, II photoelectric
astrolabes and old plates taken with 40cm refractor
at Shanghai Astronomical Observatory and 60cm reflector
at Purple Mountain Astronomical Observatory. For
example, using ACT Reference Catalogue as preliminary
reference catalogue, we have reduced 31 exposures
on 15 plates in two plate areas taken with the 40cm
refractor at She-Shan Station of Shanghai Astronomical
Observatory, and obtained high precision proper motions
of 16 Hipparcos stars, with the rms of 0.54mas/yr.

4. Extending the Hipparcos Catalogue to faint stars
down to 12-14 mag. by using type-II photoelectric
astrolabe, old plates and 1.56m reflector.

5. In use of the Hipparcos catalogue and successful
observations with HST and a great number of
ground-based observations, the structure and kinematics
of the Galaxy and the stellar system will be studied.

6. Establishing several astrometric standard region
of 5degree*5degree for resting the optical system
of LAMOST.

7. A program of absolute proper motions and space
motions for some globular clusters such as M10, M3 etc.
and galactic field RR Lyra stars have been started.

8. A program on determining the trigonometric parallaxes
of stars in Pleiades region is being carried out.

9. The study on proper motions and spatial velocities
of RR Lyra stars are being undergone.
