We ask all introductory astronomy students to complete
a short QR Assessments at the beginning of the semester.
Completing this short exercise will
help you with course placement (this is advisory),
and help us in planning the lectures and discussion sections,
and in providing individualized help for students.
Completing this assessment is REQUIRED for all students,
and should be done as soon as possible!
The assessment will not be graded, but completing it is
worth 1% of the final grade
(regardless of the number of correct responses).
It is fine to use pencil and paper to work these out, but not a calculator.
